Maintenance MechanicPerforms all the duties assigned to lower pay grades, as needed.
Is able to demonstrate a high level of performance with advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques and is able to effect complex repairs and/or rebuilds as a result.
Supports the installation and the development of maintenance functions to new or reconfigured electrical and mechanical equipment.
Works with production processes to offer technical advisement or coordinates modifications to existing equipment to optimize performance through process improvement initiatives.
Your Day to Day:
Preventative maintenance (PM) and or repairs on electrical and mechanical system(s) within the plant and or on production machinery.
Preventative maintenance and or repairs on pneumatic controls for building systems and or production machinery.
Preventative maintenance and or minor repairs on plan machinery and equipment, including hydraulic systems on production machinery.
Troubleshooting, installation, repair and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment.
Install and debug complex CNC control systems through the use of advanced techniques and utilization of internal and external diagnostic equipment and software.
Requisition parts and materials as directed Work from electrical/mechanical drawings, schematics or diagnostic software.
Required to be successful in the role:
Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
Excellent computer skills are required.
Familiarity with blueprints, schematics, ladder diagrams and PLC logic.
Basic familiarity with CNC programming languages.
