Infrastructure Project Manager
Our customer in Newington, CT is in search of an Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee multiple IT related projects.
This role will require a high level of collaboration and communication with clients, the business, and IT resources during the lifecycle of the projects.
These projects will focus on the core data center technologies, servers, storage, WAN and LAN infrastructures.
Responsibilities include:
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure core data center technologies, servers, storage, WAN and LAN infrastructures Ability to lead team meetings, creating, tracking and communicating project, requirements, plans, schedules, and developing detailed documentation to help identify gaps and address challenges or roadblocks within the project.
Manage complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs Ability and desire to quickly learn new technologies Manage internal customer relationships and expectations Able to work effectively in a complex, diverse, and changing environment Skills required:
Ability and desire to quickly learn new technologies Must be able to lead more than one project at a time Have strong knowledge and use of project management methodologies and tools Self-starter who can deliver results with minimal guidance Customer focus, with strong interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills Desired:
3-5 years hands on IT infrastructure Project Management with core data center technologies, servers, storage, WAN and LAN infrastructures ITIL certification Proven ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical business partners.
A plus:
